A linear scale of carbon dioxide rate determination
in a simple colour transition. After 4 hours you are able
to read clearly the amount of CO2 produced by the maturing
compost. Simply look up the appropriate colour numbers in
the comprehensive manual for easy interpretation.
A linear scale of volatile ammonia (NH3)
concentration expressed in a 5 colour transition. After 4
hours you can determine the amount of NH3 and with information
on the pH of the compost you can estimate the total amount
of ammonium. Then just look up the appropriate colour numbers
in the comprehensive manual to determine the Solvita®
Maturity Index. |
